Ben & Jerry’s People-powered delivery

To celebrate World Animal Day on Thursday 4th October, Ben & Jerry’s herd of fans are being asked to show the cows some love for the ‘Supporting Better Dairy’ campaign by tweeting for a special delivery of new flavour, Cow Power, to their office in London’s Zone 1.

A Ben & Jerry’s eco-friendly milk float will be steered by people-powered tweets in support of the ‘Supporting Better Dairy’ campaign, a joint initiative of Ben & Jerry’s and NGOs Compassion in World Farming and the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) that aims to create recognised standards for dairy cows across Europe via an online campaign - www.happycows.eu.

During normal office hours in central London - between 9am and 4pm - Londoners will be able to help steer the float towards their office by tweeting the words “I believe all cows should be happy cows @benandjerrysUK #cowpower”. Each team will need to finish by hashtagging their company name. The teams that tweet the most or post the most exciting tweets, will win a Cow Power feast at their desks.

Those entering must follow @benandjerrysUK on twitter so the cow milk float driver can track them. Winners will be notified via a direct message on twitter.
