If you think you’ve got mean footwork and footballing skills, head down to Centrale Shopping Centre on Tuesday 9th October where you can test your abilities against the very best – the players of Crystal Palace Football Club.

Aaron Martin and Aaron Wilbraham will be in the centre demonstrating their footballing prowess and getting to know more about cancer, alongside ex-England goal keeper Nicky Johns who is the founder of the Mr Brightside project that raises awareness of bowel cancer.

From 3.30pm you will have the chance to compete in a ‘kick up’ competition and win yourself some superb prizes including a signed football. But time is limited and the competition will only run for one hour to see who really is the’ King’ of the kick ups!

The competition will take place in the Central Atrium just outside the entrance to Debenhams and you can get more details and register to take part at the ‘Get to know cancer’ shop on the ground floor of Centrale Shopping Centre from Saturday 6th October. You must be registered by 3pm on Tuesday 9th October to take part.

Hammerson owned Centrale Shopping Centre in Croydon has been selected to host the UK’s first ever ‘Get to know cancer’ pop-up shop. Situated in Centrale for five weeks from 27th September, the ‘Get to know cancer’ shop is hosting numerous events enabling shoppers to learn more about cancer, share stories and ask any questions they might have about the disease in an informal setting.

Visit the ‘Get to know cancer’ store at Centrale Shopping Centre and find out how cancer is treatable and even beatable up until the 4th November.
