Pedal powered film screening

Come and take part in a film screening with a difference! A unique event using electricity generated entirely from the audience pedalling ordinary bicycles attached to specially adapted generators. There are no batteries, so if you stop pedalling, the film stops!

We're working with Electric Pedals who teach the science of generating electricity whilst having lots of fun. Why not cycle to the screening so we can hook up your bike to generate the power we need.

With the Track World Cup taking place in Glasgow, this is a great weekend to get on your bike. Plus you get to choose the film we screen!

We held a vote for the film we would show so thanks to all those who voted. The winning film is Back to the Future.

You are welcome to bring blankets and cushions to sit on. You can also bring your own refreshments or try some of the food and drink that will be on sale. The event is free but booking is recommended. Event takes place indoors.
