Welcome to this year’s British Horror Film Festival!! It’s going to be an exciting day, with Q&As, awards and a chance for the audience to vote for their favourite film. But first...

So we’ve all seen some fantastic horror films in our lifetime - the classics like Hitchcock’s “Psycho”, the home-footage style of “The Blair Witch Project” and countless spine-tinglers like “The Ring”. For year’s people have been making films to scare people, but what is it that makes a truly great horror movie? Is it the fear of the unknown, is it blood and gore or is it the terror that it could be real?

At the Film Festival Guild, we wanted to celebrate just how diverse horror films can be - from vampires, to zombies to crazy babysitters!! Prepare for gut-wrenching terror, chilling tales and dark comedy. The films at this year's festival are all completely different and interesting in their own way, and we are delighted to screen each and every one.

Horror fans - we hope you like what you see...well we hope it scares the hell out of you anyway; enjoy!
