Port tasting

Almeida restaurant located just off Upper Street in Islington will be hosting its first ever port tasting on Thursday 8th November. Guests will have the opportunity to sample ports from Quinta de la Rosa, a small family owned vineyard located in Northern Portugal in the heart of the port growing region. Quinta de la Rosa produces small quantities of high quality ports, red wines and extra virgin olive oil and all the products are grown, made and bottled on the premises. Producer Sophia Bergqvist will host the tasting introducing guests to a selection of exceptional, warming ports in Almeida’s sunken room, while they also enjoy a selection of canapés.
