Come and see Edita working on her latest masterpiece from 20th to 26th November where 196 Brick Lane will come alive with the unique artwork of Edita and her guest artists, courtesy of Drai Fine Art.

Edita’s work explores different relationships and figures throughout her life and portrays them in a combination of abstract, figurative and conceptual artwork. Her uninhibited painting style has won her many followers and recent exhibitions have led to a growing level of interest in her work. Originally a conservator and restorer of paintings, she is now able to focus her attention on producing more stunning pieces. “I never plan what I am painting. The inspiration comes from within - my emotions , moods , feelings when I stand up to the canvas. I feel the moment and try to capture its essence ...be it happy or sad, it’s rewarding to see it expressed as a piece, perhaps to last forever.”

Visitors to the exhibition will also be fortunate enough to view the work of Edita’s guest artists, Benjaminas Jencius and Leo.
Benjaminas’ paintings are exciting, bright, modern abstract watercolours utilising innovative techniques. “The artist finds an individual rhythm, contrast and amount of energy for every thought so that a reflection of the whole raises an adequate understanding in the subconscious of the observer.” Agne Narusyte (Art Critic)
Leo’s work has a delightfully familiar feel to it due to the inspiration she draws from artists such as Leo is inspired by Joan Miro, Wassili Kandinsky and others.
