On Thursday 15 November at 5.30pm join in the festivities and get Christmas wrapped up early this year as the Lanes of Mayfair, South Molton Street, Brook Street, Lancashire Court and Avery Row and Haunch of Venison Yard join together for a special Christmas shopping experience.

The switch on of the South Molton Street Christmas lights will be celebrated with Great Ormond Street Hospital, one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals and the cast from Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain.

Visitors will be entertained with a selection of Christmas carols creating a joyful and festive atmosphere. This will be followed by an exert from the theatre production of Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain, now playing at the Garrick Theatre. To finish the evening’s entertainment there will be a solo performance from Chelsey, a former patient of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Bosideng, who launched its multimillion pound flagship store on South Molton Street in July, will be contributing 50% of its takings on the day to this worthwhile charity. Many other stores are donating gifts and money to the charity.

Many of the stores will be celebrating the Christmas lights from 12noon – 8pm by offering special one night only instore activities, discounts and gifts with purchase. Shoppers can experience the Mayfair Christmas with a selection of complementary mince pies, mulled wine, champagne and chocolates offered by many of businesses in the area as they get into the festive spirit.

So come and celebrate the Christmas lights in South Molton Street...and have a Mayfair Christmas.
