"It should be required viewing for all politicians" Maureen Duffy.

This is the first public screening of a new documentary on the City of London, Secret City.

Described by Stephen Reid of the New Economics Foundation as "A brilliant film, with potentially far-reaching impact in catalysing a new movement for City reform", Secret City is a story about the development of the Corporation of London through the ages, landing in the present. Using interviews with politicians, businessmen, vicars, activists and analysts we tell the story of the consolidation of the City's power in the world economy, it's role in the crisis and its affects on people and institutions.

The score includes original music by Simon Zagorski-Thomas and the Vaults Quartet. The film uses some impressive archive footage including William Raban's MMX, Anthony Simmon's Bow Bells, and the Dream of Toyland from 1907.
