Christmas Night Markets at Camden Lock Market...

The Night Markets return to Camden Lock for the Christmas period every Thursday from 15th November 2012

Camden Lock will transform into a place of festive wonderment this Christmas with magical lights and an urban forest of festive trees emblazoning the canalside market yards. After the success of the summer Night Markets, the Lock will be hosting 6 more, beginning on Thursday 15th November (5pm-10pm)

The market is celebrating forty years of craft, makers and traveller-sourced unique products, and along with its popular global street food and a riot of great entertainment, Christmas shopping becomes an event not to be missed in one of London’s gems. Enjoy great food & drink from artisan suppliers and long standing Camden Lock favourites, live seasonal entertainment, pop up bars selling aromatic spiced cider, glog and mulled wine and the Chin Chin Lab’s Winter Brew Bar will return.

Each of the six weeks will have something unique to offer with pop up traders, artists and acts complimenting each other. Cupcake Day, Pop Up Vintage Fairs London, We Make London, Camden Lock’s Jewellery Quarter, The Duck Pond Artisan Market and the Duck Pond Farmers Market will be the headlining companies showcasing their wares alongside Camden Lock favourites, and shoppers will be able to roll up their sleeves themselves and make something on the spot - such as The Shower Lab, The Perfume Studio and The Pencil Making …

The whole of Camden Lock, including the spectacular Market Hall will be decorated to create an air of enchantment and mischief, where naughty Christmas fairies have cast magic and festival sparkle. Festive music will be provided by local choirs, carol singers, bands and schools with a different act each week that will enhance the very social shopping experience.
