BLUESMIX

BluesMix are a London based band blending vintage funk sounds with soulful Blues.

The band's influences range from “pure' classic Blues artists such as Howlin Wolf and Jimmy Reed through New Orleans and funk artists such as Allen Tousaint and The Meters, Soulive, Grant Green.

The band have toured the USA playing famous venues such as BoomBoomRoom in San Francisco. They have backed or played with leading artists including Amy Winehouse, The New Mastersounds, Ian Siegal.

Blues in Britain magazine said BluesMix are “Up there with the best of the UK Blues scene”.

JOE'S ALLISON TRIO

Drawing from the music of classic artists such as Mose Allison, Ray Charles and Georgie Fame the trio plays classic soul jazz and some inspired new material. The trio features highly acclaimed keyboard player Joe Tatton. Joe has played Hammond Organ and Piano for 6 years with new funk stalwarts The New Mastersounds , recording 5 albums.

Touring primarily in the USA he has played legendary venues such as Filmore West, Tipitinas and House of Blues in New Orleans. Along the way Joe has played full length sets with Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Art Neville, George Porter Jr.

Previously Joe featured on Corinne Bailey Rae's first album playing keyboards on the Grammy nominated "Put your Records on" and more recently alongside Leeds funksters "The Haggis Horns" on their first two albums "Keep on Movin'" and "Hot Damn!"


BEN JORDAN

A gifted instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, Ben Jordan has recorded several solo albums and toured extensively across the USA and Europe. He has played with the likes of Derek Trucks, Warren Hayes and Kelly Joe Phelps.
"The maturity that Jordan has gained in his several solo albums leading up to this release is shown in deep lyrics which refuse to date themselves, but seem to be from generations ago.” Marquee magazine
