The Yiddish Twist Orchestra, an allstar band under the guidance of Lemez Lovas (Oi Va Voi, Shtetl Superstars) and twistneck guitarist Ben Mandelson (3 Mustaphas 3, Triaboliques) – featuring Europe’s retro king Natty Bo on vocals (Ska Cubano, Top Cats), sizzling Latin trombonist Paul Taylor (Snowboy, Roberto Pla) and Hammond maestro Robin Harris (La Machine) - pays homage to the genius of Willy Bergman, the anonymous beatnik funkateer who got the slums - and salons - on both sides of the water dancing to a pounding Yiddish beat.
