The Pianoke is an antidote to everything modern - an interactive cabaret show and sheet music karaoke hosted by Grace Note and performed by her audience - an opportunity for you to show off your vocal talents and entertain each other, supported by Grace at the piano.

An evening of song, silent film and startlingly good piano. You are invited to make selections from a list of titles from her extensive sheet music archive: the musical menu has selections for every performer's taste - from the dizzy heights of the Aria of the Queen of the Night, downstream to the Song of the Volga Boatmen. There's Cole Porter and 'Casta Diva', Schubert and West Side Story's 'Somewhere', Bond theme songs and Bizet. Get it on the website.

Grace has taken up residence at Denmark Street's AlleyCat Club, where she will present her Pianoke each and every Sunday, assisted by Martyn Niele, former member and musical director of British gay troupe Bloolips. Come along - be seen, be heard!

Praise for previous show STAR FOLLIES, which ran for ten years at Bar Aquarius, Comedy Public House, the Courtyard Theatre and the Covent Garden Theatre Museum -

"Imaginative ... hilarious ..." ".. a cross between Hainault Place Bingo Hall and Carshalton Beaches Amateur Operatic Society!"

"The most original and fantastic thing I have ever done of an evening in Londontown. Think a camper version of Cabaret, in which you get to be Liza Minnelli."
