For me, Ted Baker has always been one of those quintessentially British brands that does Autumn/Winter oh so well; with its rich hues and autumnal textures, and its general Englishness, I've always preferred the brand's autumn collections to summer - there's a reason it's my favourite fashion season - and the new AW15 footwear collection certainly doesn't disappoint.
Last week I popped down to the #TedToToe footwear launch at the Spitalfields boutique to see what's in store for the season. If you haven't yet paid it a visit, get it on your radar. The store, perfectly positioned on Commercial Street, not only stocks the cream of Ted's fashion and footwear offerings, but spectacles, fragrance, homewares, bicycles and everything else in between; a dapper shopping destination indeed. It also plays host to Ted's Beauty Spot and Grooming Room, offering appointments for manis, pedis, threading, gentlemen's haircuts and shaves.
The new AW15 Curiosities campaign, accompanied by a fab film shot at the Natural History Museum, unearths trinkets and treasures, curiosities and curations, resulting in a gorgeously wearable collection. Richly autumnal shades of oxblood, forest green and deep purple, beautiful floral prints, distinctive jewelled details and gold metalwork all add to the luxurious vibe of the collection. With wearable ankle boots, killer pointed courts and statement stilettos perfect for party season the AW15 collection is a winner.
