They did my wedding cake last year and it was perfect!
I didn't want to go the traditional route as far as the cake went (I hate fruit cake and marzipan) so, after doing considerable research on the internet, Husband and I decided to go with GGCS for our wedding cake, as the east Asian style fresh fruit and cream cake was what I was used to, growing up in Canada (I am of Japanese ancestry).
Cake was tasty and reasonably priced and ready on time on the day.
My birthday's next month and I intend to get them to do a cake for that do as well.

I have visited this cake shop a few times and every time the cakes have been delicious! Beautifully and carefully made and very tasty. I always revisit this little place when I make trips into London, and I definitely recommend it.

I have been using the Golden Gate Cake shop for quite a few years now, for all my kids birthdays. The quality of ingredients (usually fresh cream and fruit)and the decoration and designs are fantastic. Every order has been as I requested and on time, it,s not the cheapest place to order from, but a few pounds extra paid, has always been worth it to me. I have recommended this place to my friends and they now get their orders here. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
