I've been buying fresh rye bread from The Happening Bagel Bakery for some years now and I have to admit it's very good indeed. Occasionally I may also buy a hot filled bagel to eat on my journey home but these are pretty lacklustre.
This evening however, I have to report that the hot beef and dill pickle bagel that I brought had shards of broken glass (from a bottle/jar) in it. When I went back to the shop to report it none of the three employees would admit who was in charge of the shop, they withheld the name and contact details of the manager, and even went as far as to accuse me of putting the broken glass in the bagel myself!
Sadly, I will not be buying food from this establishment again - it's just not worth the risk....

the best chollahs and bagels. really doughy - just like i like them.
it is always crowded.
minus point is the parking - really hard - and i think the cakes are less good than the bread products.
