Zoology

Recently had my hair coloured and blow dried here for the first time. There was an unfortunate start as my hairdresser that I had booked was off sick so I had to have another stylist squeeze me in. She did a fantastic job and I was well looked after - with nice magazines, hot drinks etc! Really pleased with the final result. The only room for improvement was I felt I was left waiting around a lot while the stylist attended to other clients in between; I was in there over two hours which I felt was a long time. But this could have been due to being short of staff. Would use them again for sure.

for a fantastic cut and colour I cannot rate zoology high enough, I have been coming here for the past 2 years and would not dream of going anywhere else. I also love the whole experience of my vist from the moment I step through the door until I leave, I am treated like a valuable client. Bravo!

Before I start the review, I'll admit Zoology is pricey but you pay for quality and at zoology you receive quality. I've come here for years now and am never let down. The hair cuts are excellent and the hair dyes look extremely expensive and well done. The staff are lovely, very friendly. Highly recommend.

With a large quantity of salons to choose from in Wanstead this is one to avoid! It started off really well as a great little shop but expanded to become a trendy 'award-winning' (oh I'm sorry did you say runner up...) salon, snobbish about it's clients and doing what they feel is creative rather than actually listening to the client. I stuck with it for some time but ended up with brown hair even though I'd said I didn't want to go dark (being a blonde) because they thought I'd love it and they decided to do it anyway... I hated it but was then told that my hair was a breaking point because of how they'd dyed it! Needless to say I've never been back and would urge all those who value their hair to stay well away. Also overpriced - a 'London' salon it's not. Views far above their station.
