Well what can I say! The staff are rude and they speak to the juniors like they are dirt. The owner is smarmy and up himself. They didn’t listen when I told them what I wanted and I spent a fortune and got something completely different!!!

I live in the area and had heard rave reviews about this hairdressers. I finally got round to booking and I'm delighted to have discovered a gem in the heart of Kensington. I have curly hair and am forever straightening it. Michael (one of the owners) convinced me he could cut my hair in such a way to enhance the curls. I trusted him and the hair looks fab! I now wear my curls with pride. All the staff are super friendly and polite and the salon itself is bright, spacious and very stylish. Oh the blow dries are amazing too for the days when I want to be sleek. You must give it a try!

This hairdressers is in a central location - right on High Street Kensington. The huge, stylish premises are beautiful. You can people-watch over the high Street through huge picture windows. It is busy, (good sign), yet seems a calm, happy place. You get a delicious coffee. The staff are all genuinely friendly, seem very "normal", (I'm not sure what that means). And they do great, fabulous hair. And its dirt cheap. I am amazed I stumbled upon this wonderful place. It's Stannard and Slingsby - the upstairs place in High Street Kensington that like me you probably have noticed, but pass by. Its up to you. Whoever runs this place is a genius.

I saw this impressive looking salon and decided to treat myself to colour and a cut,
It turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life.
I not once felt like i had been listened to, i took pictures of the colour i wanted. The colour turned out o.k. nothing to whoop about but i could live with it.
The total disaster was the cut. oh my god the stylist didnt listen to me one bit, he dried my wavy frizzy hair and did a dry cut, all he said to me was 'do you want to keep the lengh?' after he had finished i was left with a mullet, he must have cut off at least 6 inches! I left looking like justin lee colins and it still hasnt grown back 1 year on!
