9 out of 10 for the haircut (Kensington Branch): The hairstylist was great; She was friendly, listened to my requests and cut my hair how I wanted it. I felt she also gave good, honest advice and if I were to return again, it would be because of her.....HOWEVER......
The receptionist was awful: dismissive and brusque. When I mentioned this to the stylist, she gave a resigned shrug and admitted it was a known problem.
Such a shame as the receptionist is the first and last person you have contact with when arriving and leaving. As the business owner, I would want to look into this and improve her approach/response to customers because a friendly and helpful receptionist makes a big difference.

Came here about a week ago as I was looking to get a nice wash and blowdry for the weekend...didn't disappoint. Very thorough and relaxing wash. Stylist Charlotte also very easily understood the look I was wanting (tousled beachy waves) and spent the time to make sure it looked right and that it would hold and that the curls would drop just the right amount over the course of the day. A tiny but perfectly formed salon with friendly attentive staff. I will be booking in again soon!

Great salon, was recommend by a friend. Ive just moved to London.
I wanted to complete change with my colour and cut so I was a bit stressed and explained this on the phone. The receptionist was really friendly and she told me that she would leave plenty of time for me to have an in depth consultation with the stylist before my appointment. During the consultation the stylist showed me some pictures and colours that she thought might suit me and I felt at ease.
I cut off 5 inches from my hair and seriously felt like a new person! Thank you Cool Creative! Ill be back!!

I left my daughter for a wash and cut, paid full price plus a tip. When she arrived home she told me "they didn't wash my hair." When I called to ask why I was told her hair was clean and there was a backlog for hair washes (her hair was filthy!) they decided not to wash her hair to save themselves time, but charged the full price anyway. Basically took advantage of a naive girl. We are really unhappy with the service and attitude.

I have been using Cool Cuts (creative) for over 6 years and have always been happy with the results. I live in the local area and think this hairdresser is really well priced compared to others. The staff are really friendly and will always do their best to accommodate your needs. Would definitely recommend.

I have had the same hairdresser since I was 17 so when it came to getting my first hair cut in London I was nervous. However,Angelica made me feel very comfortable.
She talked me through the colour of my highlights, making sure I had plenty of options and that it would be subtle and bright, which it is! When she cut my hair she was careful to keep my length but get rid of the horrible dead ends I had. She was pleasant and knowledgeable throughout.
The other staff were very welcoming and hospitable, it was a great experience overall.

I've been going to this hairdresser for over a year now and I keep coming back because I love their customer service and the great job that my hairdresser always does. I always leave this place happier than when I arrive there, this is the reason why I always Cool Cuts to my friends.

Went there for asking for change and left with just a couple of cm off and No sign of the promised fringe. Cut my losses by not getting the full blow dry.

Hairdressers are very important for me as I go usually twice per week. I'm regular at Holland St. for two years now, always with Nando. Excellent blow-drying, hair cutting and colouring - simply a hairdresser who knows his job. Other guys working in there are very pleasant and professional as well. Highly recommended.

Just had a fantastic, sharp, haircut here by Nando at the Holland Street branch. I was highly recommended to him by a friend who has been seeing him for years, and I was not disappointed. I wanted a significant change to my hairstyle, and was a little nervous. He is very skilled and confident and I am delighted with the result. Will definitely also go back to him for blow dries. This is not the poshest or most comfortable salon in Kensington, but prices are good ( for this area!) and my wash, cut and blow dry were professional which is what I needed, and I felt confident I was in experienced hands! Will go back soon.

I have been going to Cool Cuts for 8 years in the Kensington salon. I have been looked after by a few stylists over the years and have never come away disappointed. I am regularly complimented on my highlights and as a result have sent many of my family and friends there. (they too have been impressed):) Great customer service not to mention a head massage to die for!!! Thank you Cool Cuts, see you next week for my weekly blowdry!!!

I used to use Cool Cuts Kensington for a number of years and it was very good. Now however, their turn over of staff seems very frequent and the decent hairdressers have all left. The last 2 times I went for highlights it cost well over £100 and my hair didn't look any different. No one there knows how to layer or texturise hair either. Sadly I will not go there again.

my husband and i have visited cool cuts in kensington many times in 3 years, the atmosphere there is always a pleasure! the customer service is excellent, always so friendly and accomodating, and they always listen to your needs and do their best!in this neighborhood it is a little gem. the only problem is they are always so busy you cant always get in!!

Cool Cuts is a bit of a hit and miss. I've been there a few times now and every time I get someone different who is either really good or really bad. Most recently I got someone really bad who managed to mess-up things proper. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. For the 19.90 they charged, you're better of elsewhere.
