ABOUT: The body has natural powers to stay healthy. Illnesses develop when the body is too weak to protect itself. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic approach to restore the body’s natural rejuvenating and healing powers. Case studies show that in restoring these powerful capabilities, we “cure” a large number of “incurable” health conditions including poor memory, night urination, low sex drive, sinusitis, and tinnitus, all at or around the same time.

I was under a lot of stress, sleeping badly, having aches and pain all over, especially on my shoulders. My friend suggested me to have a session of acupuncture and massage at The Chinese Clinic in Balham. The relief was instant. I was so relaxed that I felt asleep on the couch, as though I was floa

I had been suffering from many serious, “incurable” illnesses and pain for many years. The lower back and sciatica pain alone were so bad that the doctor signed me off on disability allowance over 10 years ago. I also had pain in my joints, degeneration in my spine and left hip and a mini stroke on

I was suffering from many chronic health problems including insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, pain and tightness in my hamstrings, and severe lower back pain. I had been to my GP and hospitals on many occasions but to no avail.

I came to The Chinese Clinic as a last resort. The doctor asked many questions and found conditions that I had not paid attention to before. He spent time discussing my approach to life and discovered that I had little regard for my own limitations. He told me that I had been clustering my mind with unnecessary thoughts and thinking constantly had weakened my brain function. That is why I was unable to relax or sleep properly. He taught me how to switch-off so that my brain may have a chance to rest. Restorative sleep would revive my body’s capacity to regenerate and heal itself.

I had never seen this approach before. It was made clear that if I did not change my perspective on life then I would not be able to relax sufficiently for my body to recuperate and recharge. My health problems are the result of a body that had become too weak to protect and heal itself.

I was sceptical but after acupuncture, massage and herbal medicine, combined with a new outlook which aims at harmony and respect for limitations, I am utterly amazed at the results. I now fall asleep easily. I no longer wake up to pass water twice a night as I had been doing for the last few years. My leg has recovered its flexibility, and the anxiety that I had suffered from for over 10 years vanished together with the lower back pain that had been bothering me for 7 years. My memory and all other conditions have also improved markedly.

I used to pass my tension onto my girlfriend but now she finds me so much more relaxed and fun to be with. We are happier than ever before. My energy, productivity and quality of life have all improved; I cannot believe how my life has changed so drastically in 3 weeks. I recommend The Chinese Clinic most highly.

I have suffered from severe PMS for over 2 years. The pain starts 2 weeks before my period and hurt me constantly. I had pain in my breasts, lower back, and pain in my legs so severe that it caused them to shake involuntarily, making my sleep which had long been bad even worse. I was waking up a few times every night, feeling tired all the time.

The Chinese Clinic diagnosed my condition as WAD - weak and dysfunctional. My hair was falling out; my memory and concentration getting worse. My legs were heavy, hands and feet cold. I had constipation, IBS, hot flushes and night sweat, and I started vomiting in the last 2 months. I also had pain on my neck, shoulder and back. I was sceptical when recommended a course of treatment consisting of acupuncture, massage and herbal tea but took up the advice because the first session felt so good.

I was amazed one morning that the pain in my legs had almost disappeared. The quality of sleep continues to be excellent; I am now sleeping through the night without waking up to pass water which I had been doing for the last 2 years. It is unbelievable how my life has changed after 7 treatments.
I feel refreshed and energised in the mornings and my memory is much sharper. My hair is falling much less, my hands and feet warm again, and my legs not heavy; I have regular bowel movements, the hot flushes are gone, my breasts do not hurt and I have not vomited since treatment started.

This transformation reinforces my changing attitude in how I prioritise my life. I have stopped committing myself to things as I was getting far too busy and had no time to myself. My whole experience quite honestly shocked me - I became so accustomed to living in tiredness, pain and discomfort that it had become normal. I was totally sceptical at first because I could not believe that my life could change, but the changes are real. It is a fact that I would like more people to become aware of.Nasreen Mohammed 30 August 2010
