i came across a pc game i brought from game-station about 7 years ago and i was shocked when i saw the price i paid for it...£34.99!
and i remember about 3 years ago i brought some dvds to gamestation hoping to exchange them for a reasonable amount of money and i was once again shocked when the salesman told me that he could only offer me about £2.50 in exchange for about 8 dvds...some were virtually unwatched.
of course i took back my dvds and left the shop.
i can honestly say that i will never ever buy or attempt to exchange a game or dvd from gamestation again.
don't get me wrong, i understand the nature of running a business...profit is the owners objective...but when the reality is that game-station expects people to pay ridiculous amounts of money for a mere game and then offer you peanuts for good dvds that they would no doubt attempt to resell for alot more,
thats when i give up on buying games and dvds at least from highstreet shops.
thank goodness for sites like ebay and amazon.
