Failed to deliver my parcel. Didn't leave a calling card and I had to get the sender to chase it up. I called the delivery office but it just diverts to a national customer services number who will not help unless you have a tracking number for them. I have had so many things go missing from this Fulham Delivery Office I suggest they cctv their staff and postmen. Daylight robbery.

The gentlemen in the Fulham post office collection point are always helpful and efficient, waiting times are much shorter lately also. They do put up with a lot of angry, impatient people every day. Keep up the good work boys.

I have just read the reviews for the Fulham Broadway Royal Mail Centre. I am trying to track a parcel I sent from Australia, have made 5 phone calls in 10 mintues and the phone just rings out. How canI find out if this parcel is sitting at their centre??

Ive lived in fulham for 20 years , both as a business and home, and this office is a disaster waiting to happen. Surly unhelpful staff, incompetent delivery systems, and a couldnt care less attitude. Royal Mail top brass dont care hence they are allowed to get away with it. I see no future for this postal area and have moved ALL my shipping accounts elsewhere.

I ordered a £20 product from Amazon and was notified by email on 22nd that it had been dispatched. Despite (or perhaps because??) I selected SuperSaver delivery it was sent my Royal Mail Tracked, with a tracking number supplied. After 1 week its a no-show so I check their website and it says 'Delivery Failed on 22nd' though i) I was in all day and ii) no card was left. Looking up the branch opening times I found these reviews so was braced for an arguement when I got to the branch. However, the queue (5pm, weekday) was short and the guy serving was able to find the parcel v quickly and happy to hand over to me with no card, just email and ID. He also apologised for lack of card (unprompted). So, whilst I think its fair to give the postman zero, the branch redeemed it for me.

I swear this is the worst post office in the world! I have literally never experienced such a terrible service anywhere. My post is frequently going missing. Our DVD's from Lovefilm are repeatedly not turning up and recently about 1/2 of my birthday cards from family didn't arrive. I am growing increasingly frustrated by this lack of reliability. To make matters worse i have been trying to contact them for days to express my concerns, but they just do NOT answer the phone at all. Even though it is during their official opening hours. Is anyone else experiencing lost post from this office. It seems a bit suspicious that it always seems to be the DVDs and birthday cards that go missing and never the bills! I am starting to lose my patience!

Had to give them a score out of 10 but zero wasn't an option. 1 suggests they did something which they didn't unless you count having a phone line installed as something. Had they ever answered, after numerous calls, then I could at least have begun to find out where my missing mail has got to.

I agree with the reviews below. No way of contacting a person as the phone is NEVER picked up and the reason I have to contact them is that they haven't done their job right in the first place. I'm trying to take delivery of a large parcel at a private block of flats. All over delivery service (DHL, UPs etc) know to leave large packages at the security desk where is can be safely held indefinitely. The fact that this is alien and has been unused by them on 2 occassions is more than disappointing, as is the fact that they obviously don't read customer feedbakc or they'd be answering the phone after being told to do so for about 2 years....

Tracking a package - was delivered to Fulham delivery office three days ago, says "ready for delivery" - why haven't they delivered it yet? Trying to call and after 6 rings you get a message "sorry your call cannot be answered at the moment but you cannot leave a message so please call later." Absolutely appalling. No service whatsoever.

Just looked on the Royal Mail tracking service to find out where my parcel is.
Apparently they tried to deliver it yesterday. No card was left at my address and now they dont answer their phones at the sorting office.
The next thing I'm sure will be they wont let me claim my parcel without the card when i go down there and queue for an hour on Saturday. Useless service

Encountered the postman this morning posting my letters through the door - in amongst them was a "we tried to deliver your parcel but you were not home" slip. The post man had not knocked on the door and it was pure coincidence that I happened to be opening the door as he posted the re-delivery slip through. As I was standing face to face with him I asked him for the parcel and he didn't even have it with him! He hadn't even TRIED to deliver it! He hadn't even bothered to put it on his trolley! What kind of service is this?! Useless.

I would really like to have made some comment on the service I received at Fulham sorting office but it's difficult as I received no service at all. What I got instead was a surly individual whose sole purpose was to try and get rid of me as soon as possible so he could be surly to the next guy behind me. There wasn't even a feigned attempt to try and help, not even a pretense. Nothing but complete and utter indifference. The royal mail website stated that my parcel had already been delivered and there was no way the man was going to even consider the possibility that the website was wrong. it was only after insisting that i would not leave until I had seen who had signed for it and when that he dissapeared for about 3 minutes and returned with my parcel and got me to sign for it. No appology, no explanation, no nothing.

Disgraceful service! Dropped a card 'Sorry you were out' through the door along with other post whilst I in the living room. No knock, and not even an attempt to deliver the post, then posty scurried off - lazy, useless individual. Then you call up and there is no answer and it's because they are experiencing high nummber of calls. You wonder why when you don't do the job you are paid to do in the first place! And if you think the job doesnt pay enough, hours are no good or packages are too heavy then quit and go find a new job or man up and grow some balls!

Received an email to say tried to delivery parcel before 15.21 but there was no one there so a card was left.

We are an office - no one tried to deliver parcel and no card was left.

Telephone has been ringing for 10 minutes to see what has happened to parcel.

Are these reviews read?

Management should do something to improve service!

PS They still haven't picked up the telephone!

I received a "sorry you were out" card which actually means "sorry I couldn't be bothered to take your parcel to the concierge", so telephoned to arrange redelivery. The parcel wasn't redelivered on the day they promised so rang up again and they gave me another redelivery day...and for a second time, the parcel wasn't redelivered on that day either!

I also paid £6.50 to send a legal contract 'special delivery'...and they lost that too!

I will let you draw your own conclusions on the effectiveness of the Royal Mail...

I would give them a rating of zero if that was an option, they just do not pick up the phone, why can't they even manage to answer a telephone which even a 5 year could do - imagine how difficult it must be for them to process mail correctly.

Further to this I see that everyone else has had a similar experience, clearly they couldn't give a hoot about the quality of their service. They should all be dimissed and a new professionally trained team brought in.

Absolutely Appauling service!!
A slip arrived on the 17/12/09 from NZ. I paid a 19.34 costoms charge online as the slip instructed me to do so (almost half the cost of the package). Instructed online to get it redelivered.
Spoke to customer service on the 21/12/09 as it hadn't arrived yet and they told me it wasn't getting dispatched until the 22. Told them to hold it at the royal mail office and I will come and pick it up myself from Richmond. Arrived an hr later just before 6pm and they said I have to pay the customs charge again in cash to recieve package... I called the complaints number and was just about to pass the phone over when I was rudely hung up on as they shut at 6pm (sharp apparently). Got sent home in the snowy delayed transport without package. Called Complaints again this morning and told them what the story was - they were very apoligetic... yeah I'm sure. Told them that I would go back to the office before 12.30 to collect item, so don't dispatch (no longer trusted them to get package sent on time before Christmas - even though they could probably throw it to the delivery address). Got there and what a supprise, my package was no longer there, it had been dispatched... Still waiting for it to arrive.
Costomer service in this country is a disgrace at best!!!
A bunch of puppets on a string saying "computer says no".

Awful service... like previously mentioned, they seem to make their own hours, never answer the phone and every time I go to the mystical depot they are extremely rude, as if you have done something wrong by coming to pick up your mail. Post sevice in this country is getting worse and worse.

Very bad service, they sometimes seem to close before the closing hour with no explanatory note in the door, wasting people's time. And yes, I subscribe to the other reviews, they are so lazy they don't even bother to pick up the phone.
The worst of all is that they go around striking all the time on our (tax payers) money. I think they should have staff cuts rather that salary increase, and proper staff evaluations. Very annoying to have to deal with them.
