Imperial Wharf

Your All In London guide to Imperial Wharf

The newish Imperial Wharf is not quite in Chelsea, although the rows of luxury apartment blocks and proximity to Chelsea Harbour give away its proximity to the wealthy neighbourhood. The riverside location ensures there are great views over the Thames, however there is something oddly sterile about the buildings, which all look like they could be flat-packed away. Restaurants like Spice of India and the relocated Blue Elephant are now situatedhere, on the north bank of the river, however the frequent sightings of signs advertising office space and homes for sale suggest Imperial Wharf is still semi-vacant. One bedroom flats go for almost £600,000 here, which may go some way towards explaining why there hasn’t been a rush to buy up the property.
