L’Autre Pied is the sister restaurant to Michelin-starred Pied à Terre. When it opened in 2007 it originally had chef Marcus Eaves in the kitchen, who’s since moved over to Pied à Terre. Young chef Andy McFadden replaced him in 2010.
Like at Pied à Terre, the cuisine is French, with lots of exotic (read: posh) combinations of ingredients, along with a healthy dose of glazes and veloutes. Rather than stick to accepted French wines the list includes New World varieties as well as some unusual choices from Slovakia and Greece.
