Celebrate Bastille day in style with a costumed reading of A Tale of Two Cities by actor Dominic Gerrard in the home Dickens was proud to call his ‘House in Town’.
With well over 200 million copies sold, the novel is not only one of the Victorian author’s most popular, it ranks amongst the most famous works in the history of fictional literature!
Ticket holders will also have a private view of 48 Doughty Street prior to the performance – an exclusive opportunity to take a sneak peek at the beautiful historic interiors of the Museum after hours.
About Dominic Gerrard:
Dominic trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He has since worked extensively in theatre, both in the West End and throughout the UK’s top regional venues. His solo adaptation of A Christmas Carol, directed by Tim Carroll (Globe/West End) has played to sold out audiences at the Charles Dickens Museum for the last two years running and his performances of A Tale of Two Cities this Summer are sure to provide an evening to remember.
