One of the brightest young talents in the UK, Philippa Hanna has been winning the hearts of audiences the world over with her faith-filled inspirational music since her 2007 debut, Watching Me.
In 2012 she supported Lionel Richie on his UK arena tour, a feat she repeated opening for Wet Wet Wet in December 2013. She kicked off 2014 with both her own headline tour and a support slot with Rebecca Ferguson, who she rejoins the summer at the Forestry Commission's 'Forestry Live' events.
Current album Through the Woods was recorded at the legendary Steelworks Studios in Sheffield and released in 2013 to critical acclaim. She subsequently performed live on Good Morning Sunday with Clare Balding, and her songs have been championed by presenters Janice Long, Paul O’Grady and Hardeep Singh Kohli.
Songs like I Am Amazing and Raggedy Doll have seen Philippa campaign for self-esteem in young people, and she is an advocate for children’s charity Compassion. Philippa published her second book, the autobiographical Following the Breadcrumbs, in 2013.
