Amazing Radio presents Beautiful Boy, Laurel and Rebecca Clements

Amazing Radio join with the Royal Albert Hall once again to present new and upcoming artists in the Elgar Room, including Beautiful Boy and Laurel.

Beautiful Boy

Beautiful Boy began life in Brighton in January 2013. They made their online debut in August with Home, a track which received glowing praise from the likes of Amazing Radio, XYZ Magazine and Killing Moon. Support slots with The Jezabels, The View, Luke Sital-Singh, Matthew And The Atlas, Treetop Flyers and Goldheart Assembly quickly followed and cemented the quintet's rise to recognition. Beautiful Boy’s debut double A-sided single Home/Love Me More was released through the Raygun label in May, showing off the exceptional breadth of the bands’ sound - from the heartfelt plea for redemption that is Home, to the pounding, ironic pop of Love Me More.

Laurel

This 19 year old’s self-penned and self-produced cinematic songs hinge on her seductive, sultry vocals with a haunting blend of piano, beats and strings that sounds almost otherworldly. The pop that originally inspired her is there in the hooks and harmonies; the folk she fell in love with remains in the rhythms and in the restraint of her uncluttered songs. But the music is entirely Laurel’s, written in her room since spring this year and recorded on simple equipment.
