Autumn is a golden time to be a surfer in the British Isles, consistent waves begin to light up the coastline once more and the 4th annual London Surf / Film Festival presented by Reef hits the capital.


Hosted 9-12 October 2014, this year the London Surf / Film Festival moves East to the Genesis Cinema, bringing to the UK a 4 night celebration of the cream of contemporary surf culture. Showcasing international surfing’s hottest releases, London Surf / Film Festival is renowned for curating a captivating programme of international premieres, homegrown shorts, underground releases and award-winning features that inspire, excite & entertain while redefining the parameters of possibility, and this year sees the bar raised yet again.

4 nights of the best surf films from across the globe – a selection to inspire, excite & entertain while redefining the parameters of possibility accompanied by filmmaker Q+A’s and talks from waveriding's most exciting heroes and icons, including 5x World Champion Stephanie Gilmore. PLUS: live music from StringerBessant who will be joining us for an exclusive set on the gala opening night, a slideshow from leading surf photographer Tim Nunn, the ‘Lines on Water’ poster exhibition in the Approaching Lines gallery celebrating iconic quotes from genre defining surf movies, plus a writers forum with a panel of leading surf scribes including renowned author and writer Tim Baker fresh from Australia, Bafta nominated script writer Lauren Davies, Author Tom Anderson, MagicSeaweed Editor Ed Temperley, chaired by writer and author Chris Nelson.
