Christmas windows unveiled at Fortnum & Mason

On Monday 3 November, Fortnum & Mason, the country’s finest food and drink shop, marks the countdown to Christmas with the unveiling of its famous windows and gets the season underway with a seasonal store-wide celebration.

This year’s event will be a true Christmas extravaganza. Fortnum’s friend and Strictly Come Dancing co-host Claudia Winkleman will be pressing the button to reveal the windows at 5:30pm, before inviting customers into the Piccadilly store for an evening of seasonal fun.

Once inside, guests will discover merriment across the store, and enjoy a veritable feast of festive fare. Fortnum’s will be serving everything from succulent mini hot turkey rolls to delectable Christmas pudding ice cream, mince pies, Florentines and shortbread. There’ll be plenty of Christmas tea, while those seeking festive spirit will be able to sip Absinthe, Hendricks’s gin, Grey Goose vodka, and the perennial festive favourite, mulled wine.
