These five choral scholars have been friends from the age of eight, their voices fused in perfect harmony over the course of more than a decade together. Their performance in the Elgar Room marks the release of their debut album, which includes an a capella rendition of Andrew Lloyd Webber's choral standard Pie Jesu and a celestial arrangement of John McCrae’s poem In Flanders Field, as well as new arrangements of works by Rachmaninov and Holst, and a vocal adaptation of Charlie Chaplin's Smile from his 1936 movie classic Modern Times.
Having recently signed with Decca, 2014 saw the group perform as special guests with Katherine Jenkins throughout her summer shows and support Russell Watson on his Christmas tour.
