Singer-songwriter/recording-artist, Dean Friedman, known for chart-topping hits like, ‘Ariel’, ‘Lucky Stars’, ‘Lydia’, and ‘McDonald’s Girl’, (featured in a national ad campaign for McDonald’s), and for his Silly Song, Sing-Alongs children’s concerts, has written the words, music and book to ‘Smelly Feet’, which tells the very silly tale of Danny and his best friend Pete and their hilarious quest to find a cure for Pete’s ‘smelly feet.’ The show is aimed at kids 3 to 8, but is great entertainment for the entire family.

A talented London-based cast will be touring the critically acclaimed children’s musical in the UK, through 2015 and into 2016.

Many of the songs in ‘Smelly Feet’ will be familiar to families who’ve attended Friedman’s ‘Silly Song, Sing-Along’ kids concerts in the past. Songs like Silly, Silly Song, I’m Somebody Too and Please, Please, Please, Don’t Tease the Bees are sure-fired crowd-pleasers and audiences will be encouraged to sing-along and participate throughout the show, while Danny, Pete and Danny’s little sister, Sally, pursue their ridiculous quest to cure Pete’s ‘smelly feet’.

The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter, best known for his string of international pop hits, also composes and produces music soundtracks for TV and film, including the music to the hit Central TV series BOON and the soundtrack to the underground cult horror film classic ‘I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle’ (Hobo Films/U.K.) in which he performs the unforgettable track, ‘She Runs on Blood, Not Gasoline’. Friedman also served as presenter/producer of the acclaimed radio series, ‘Real American Folk’, featured on BBC Radio Scotland, and has been featured as a guest star in a cameo appearance on David Baddiel’s TV sitcom, ‘The Baddiel Syndrome’ (SKY). Friedman, based in Peekskill, NY, tours the UK once a year.

Tickets to Dean Friedman’s ‘Smelly Feet’ can be purchased via the Thameside Theatre Box office and via its website (see below), or by box office phone: 020 7734 2222.
