Michael Buffong, acclaimed Artistic Director at Black theatre company Talawa, talks with playwright and director Jon Brittain and Casting Director Deborah McWilliams about the journey so far. As well as directing theatre, Buffong has also done his time on EastEnders, Holby and Doctors. Jon Brittain's work has been performed in a dozen fringe venues from London to New York, on TV, radio and cinema. Deborah McWilliams has cast everything from My Beautiful Laundrette to the last ten Bond movies. Their stories, lives and journeys have all been very different and they are at very different stages in the development of their careers. So how did they get to where they are now? The right moves and the wrong, the luck and the graft; it's all here...and so are they. But how did they get here?
