Nish Kumar: Work in Progress

Nish has achieved huge success on the stand-up circuit with four rave-reviewed solo stand-up shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the most recent of which, Long Word… Long Word… Blah Blah Blah… I’m so clever… was nominated for the prestigious Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show. Nish has also received nominations for Best Show at the 2013 Leicester Comedy Festival and Breakthrough Act at the 2014 Chortle Awards.

In 2014 along with four other specially selected comics, Nish embarked on a tour of India with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He is currently booked for various gigs worldwide including festivals in Hong Kong and Melbourne.

Alongside stand-up Nish is also a regular across television and radio, and last year was announced as a new host of topical comedy show, Newsjack for Radio 4 Extra. On screen you can catch up with Nish on the likes of The John Bishop Show (BBC One), The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central), Live at the Comedy Store (Paramount), Alan Davies As Yet Untitled (Dave) and Live at the Apollo (BBC Two).
