French DJ and producer Shiba San seems like he's risen to the top in only a few years, but he'd already cut his teeth in the studio behind the scenes before exploding onto the international scene, thanks to the support of Amin Edge & Dance's Cuff and Claude VonStroke's dirtybird labels. 'Okay', his popular tipping point, was picked up by the massive Ultra Music and showcased his hip-hop influenced house sound – all low-slung 808 bass, pitched down rap vocals and dance floor swagger, winning over fans from deep house to EDM. Already called on this year to remix Tiga's 'Don't Break My Heart' into a similarly muscled beast, his most recent track was another bouncing sub session in the form of 'Guess What' on Basement Leak.

Will Clarke's beats and bass are as big as his beard. Another Bristol talent, like fellow dirtybird signing Eats Everything, he earned his DJ chops as a resident at Kanya in Ibiza before starting his own South West party, Cut The Rug. Having played alongside the likes of Visionquest, Carl Cox and Boys Noize, he's grown into a headliner in his own right, while a dedication to the studio has seen his work released via labels such as Anabatic, Exploited and Southern Fried. Clarke's DJ sets are guaranteed to standout thanks to his arsenal of edits, Annie Mac recently releasing his re-beefed version of '80s electro classic 'Al-Naafiysh' by Hashim as part of her Free Music Monday series.

Joining them is Billy Kenny, who hails from Leeds but now lives in Germany. Despite being an ex-pat, however, his sound still draws on garage as much as house and techno, multiple appearances on Rinse FM proving his UK credentials. When not releasing on Sweat It Out on dirtybird he co-runs This Ain't Bristol. This label proved the launchpad for his biggest track to date, the bitch house sampling 'Work Me', recently remixed into a disco fury by Justin Jay and given away as a free download to celebrate This Ain't Bristol reaching 20,000 SoundCloud followers.
