The Wallace Collection welcomes our new Director, Spanish paintings specialist Dr. Xavier Bray, with a concert inspired by our superb collection of Spanish Old Master paintings. Titled ‘Through Gilded Trellises: a celebration of Spain’, the concert will feature award winning soprano Natalya Romaniw and acclaimed tenor Luis Gomes as they perform a repertoire of work by Spanish composers, as well as Spanish-inspired work by other European composers.

The intimate concert will be held in our impressive Great Gallery, and will also feature a discussion between Dr. Bray and pianist Iain Burnside regarding the wider impact of Spanish painters and composers on European culture. Ticket price includes an additional private gallery viewing and wine reception.

Following the concert, the Wallace Restaurant will remain open for dinner and drinks, offering a special Spanish menu until 11pm.
