Kids Company is proud to announce a major new exhibition of work created by over 400 children and young people. Held at the galleries, 6 Burlington Gardens, Royal Academy of Arts, the exhibition will be a multimedia showcase of paintings, sculpture, soundscapes and performance art.

Set against the backdrop of the 2012 Olympics, the exhibition celebrates another kind of heroic journey which rarely receives recognition, of the poignant achievement of children who have overcome unimaginable challenges to survive their childhood.

Running alongside the exhibition will be a complementary programme of events for both adults and families, including a panel debate on “re-defining heroism” with Camila Batmanghelidjh. Please visit website (link below) for more information and full event listings.

"The kids artwork is incredible...it shows how important it is to gives these kids a visual voice when all else fails." - Damien Hirst
