A model of the famed dome from St Paul’s Cathedral’s unveiled next to the real thing today is just the ticket - it’s made from a total of 115,000 used train tickets, the number of cheap Advance tickets sold on average each day in Britain.

The 6ft high model, which has been put on display for intrigued visitors to the city’s iconic landmark, is one of three created by celebrated sculptor Robert Bradford, along with models of Blackpool Tower and Edinburgh Castle.
