After a winter of bad weather and central heating my skin has undoubtedly paid the price; patchy dryness, pimples and fine lines have all been rearing their ugly head. Thankfully I just discovered the gem that is the Skinbreeze Microdermabrasion Facial, something that just might become a new favourite treatment.
Designed to stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and leave skin rejuvenated, the facial has 3 stages. Firstly the Orbital Microdermabrasion and LED light therapy (either blue for anti-bacterial properties to combat blemishes or red to target fine lines) is used to exfoliate the skin and remove unwanted imperfections and dead skin cells. Next up, an oxygen-infused serum is then used to plump up the skin and reduce any fine lines.
Dependent on the skin’s need this could either be one or a combination of; my therapist used an anti-ageing around the eyes and an anti-blemish around areas of congestion. A deliciously relaxing hydro mask (which, if kept in the fridge is reusable up to four or five times) is then applied to cool and soothe the skin, along with a spritz of an O2 spray for hydration. The result is skin that’s left feeling refreshed, revived and glowing, plumped up and completely revitalised, ready for spring!
The Skinbreeze Microdermabrasion Facial is available at Boudoir Beauty Parlour in Shoreditch, priced £75.
