BROWN’S HOTEL INTRODUCES SUNDAY JAZZ NIGHTS AT CHARLIE’S

Love London

Charlie’s, the celebrated restaurant at Brown’s Hotel in the heart of Mayfair, will welcome joyful and soulful jazz nights every Sunday evening from Sunday 12th June 2022.

Guests can wind down the weekend listening to the sounds of smooth and sultry jazz, led by seasoned saxophonist Greg Davis, who joins Charlie’s from his regular outpost, Chelsea Arts Club. Performing at every well-known Jazz haunt in London and then becoming the resident saxophonist at Le Caprice, Davis brings with him style and class to the sturdy wooden floors of London’s first hotel.

Davis will lead Charlie’s jazz trio and transport guests to a bygone era as they present the glides and flutters of the bossa nova style. Rhythmic and relaxing, the ‘new jazz’ style embodied by the samba and jazz coming out of Brazil in the late 1950s will help guests unwind at the end of the weekend and uplift spirits to conquer the week ahead.

Guests can choose from a delicious two or three course menu that has been curated by Chef Director Adam Byatt, and his right hand man, Matthew Starling, as Head Chef of Charlie’s. The menu features modern, yet classic British and European dishes, from Lobster Bisque and Smoked Haddock Monte Carlo to Wiener Schnitzel. For dessert, guests can savour Viennetta or a Chocolate Brownie Sundae.

Brown’s Presents The Blues is on now, Sunday at 7pm.
