Shaka Zulu is the latest brainchild from the creative mind of successful entrepreneur Roger Payne and his team.
As a result of having strong connections to South Africa and a love of the culture and countryside of the region of Kwazulu-natal, the restaurant has been built through admiration for the story and historical significance of King Shaka Zulu.
One of the founding principles of our business is the Zulu notion of ‘Ubuntu’, humanity through community, whereby we want to welcome guests from all walks of life and of all nationalities, and provide them with great food and hospitality in a unique and friendly setting … something that cannot be packaged, or sold, but that is a mantra and a way of ‘being’.
With a full entertainment programme offering a celebration of African music through live drumming and dancing as well as DJs, a night at Shaka Zulu promises to be one to remember.

Went there last Tuesday supposedly, as advertised, to an event hosted by Bruno Mars it turned out to be an absolute fiasco. We ended up waiting around for four & a half hours to see him, drinking over priced drinks and eating what at best could be called cold mediocre food whilst being repeatedly lied too the whole time by the staff & bouncers that he would be 'performing' shortly. He finally turned up at gone 12 promptly ignored everyone there whilst he sat with his mates drinking & then left after about 20 mins. The worst part is that Shaka Zulu are now treating everyone who has complained about the evening terribly. Awful place with rude aggressive staff, definitely not recommended.
