Peckham has become home to London’s latest and most enchanted open–air hangout, the Bussey Rooftop Bar brought to you by original bison grass vodka, ?ubrówka. This spectacular space joins its big sister the Rooftop Film Club, as one of London’s top venues to see and be seen at this summer.
Open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday, the bar has been designed with an enchanted forest theme, with detailing such as tree trunk tables and stools, beautiful plants and flowers, a twinkling corridor and ?ubrówka cocktails, Apple Zu and Zu Cooler. Meanwhile Big Flavour Burger has been brought on board to provide the menu, serving up mouth-watering burgers and home-cooked fries.

Bussey Rooftop Bar
All In London Review
If Frank's is the thinkers' rooftop bar, the Bussey Bar is the hedonist's rooftop bar in Peckham
While Peckham is beyond up-and-coming, it still manages to keep its unknown corners where crowds aren’t to be found, the Bussey Rooftop bar is not one of those places. With a clientele clearly made up of a collection of locals and incoming Friday nighters, the atmosphere is of a fun, holiday vibe – as it so often can be when the sun’s out in London – with people coming for the appeal of a rooftop view that looks out over much of the city. The only other place in South East London that attracts so many is Frank’s, the other bar perched on top if its own car park 100 yards away. The only problem we have with the Bussey Bar is the over-marketed logos everywhere, with sponsors plastered across free walls, a range of beers that doesn’t do much for the independent nature of Peckham, and soft drink companies and Nespresso vying for attention. It’s plain weird.
An Instagrammers paradise, when the sun sets on the Bussey you’ll likely see 80% of the place with phones out, capturing the shadows falling across the horizon and picking filters. A slightly depressing sight but then hey, we’ve all got social media profiles to build. Food is provided by revolving pop-ups so it’s potluck as to what you find on any given night in terms of eats. As for the rest of it, you’ll find a party vibe and some of the best views going. Just please ditch the 7Up and the Nespresso.
