Horrific evening. On the receiving end of an extraordinarily intimidating outburst from the manager - totally unwarranted and mortifyingly humiliating. Still feeling shocked and unlikely ever to return.

This pub is a hidden gem! What a beautiful beer garden, with very kiddy friendly space as well as a clever "Adults Only" enclosure!
I'm nervous to recommend it so highly incase it gets too jam packed that I won't be able to find a table, but can only recommend the atmosphere, service, food and staff highly.
With 2 kiddies, this place is summertime bliss.

We visited the Hare and Hounds twice last week as we are house-hunting in the area. Nice place, lots of different areas and the garden will be lovely during the summer months. Food very good but a bit of a wait, although the waitress was very apologetic. All ages were enjoying the facilities. Our only gripe was that as it was freezing cold on both days, having the fire lit would have made the surroundings much more inviting.
