A dinky gem of a bar in the heart of Soho. The large crowd of regulars at Escape can testify to its friendly ambience. Early on it's very relaxed, but things get increasingly wild towards the early hours! Some of the capital's best DJ's appear on different week nights, spinning a wide variety of sounds. "Deservedly one of London's landmarks on the gay scene, and makes a varied night out any evening of the week for anyone." - View London.

All In London Review
Popular gay bar with late opening during the week
Twinkly lights and fluorescent purple lighting complements the DJs spinning pop and dance hits from over the years while various screens on the walls show music videos. Drinks are inexpensive (a vodka and mixer is £2.50 before 10pm, that being said, the vodka is barely perceptible).
Weekends are a raucous, drunken, sweaty affair with the decibels rising and there being little space to manoeuvre on the cramped dancefloor, while during the week things can be decidedly quieter early on, with a fair few straight people popping in for an after-work drink.
Different theme nights take place including student night The Tuesday Night Project, ‘Trannyoke’, or tranny karaoke on Wednesdays, and Disco 3000 on Friday nights. An entry fee applies on Fridays and Saturdays, however it’s free to get in before 10.
The venue can be hired for private parties where a buffet, champagne, DJs, and even professional drag performers are provided for the entertainment of guests.
