Driver decided do get a ferry on the way to Gatwick: we waited from 7:53-8:25am to get on. He had already been slightly late to arrive. We had two hours to get to to the airport. I didn’t have checked baggage. I had done my check-in at home. When I arrived at the airport, I explained what happened to the security. They sent me to the machine straight away but gates were already closed and I couldn’t go through.
When I rang the office, initially they were extremely rude, then somebody else more civilised responded.
Think well before spending your money with this minicab company.
I had to pay for a cab that made me miss a flight. I paid for a flight and I didn’t fly. I paid a cancellation fee of my hotel booking.
The office wanted to blame me for the time I choose for them to pick me up . It’s garbage. They had two hours to take me there, which was enough time as discussed with one of the people in the office previously.
The driver said to me that “he always used the ferry and that it was better for him. While I was anxious and cold in the car, he was so relaxed talking on the phone as he was in a cafe.
The office saying to me : “he’s got family, he needs to pay his bills.” And me? Don’t I? Now, I have to pay not only my bills but also for services that I didn’t use: a flight, a hotel, and for a lazy and unprofessional driver.

Being charged £90 for a £60 journey because of yesterday's train strike I am going to Ireland to scatter my mum's ashes and being screwed over but I need to get to the airport si have no choice will not be using them again unfortunately
The driver missed the airport exit and when we called to explain the inconvenience this caused we were transferred to the most arrogant and rude person. Did not let us talk, started shouting at us, told us we were liars and hung up. This man is clearly not fit for the job and sadly the service has become a total let down. Avoid at all costs.

Really terrible service. The driver arrived one hour after my family arrived at the airport.
Usual a brilliant cabs service, but has let me down today twice.
I book my cabs for the School week, Sunday Afternoon. For Mon Tue Wed and Thursday last but not least Fri.
Booked the Cab for 8.45 and the Cab turns up at 9.20, 20 minutes late. Not on then catch the Job Booked another Cab Today at around 1.00. For 3.00 the Cab turn up at 3.20, 20 mins late again.
What the purpose of Booking a Cab and it turns up 20 minutes late. Not Happy 🤨
Metro Express is the most reliable and delightfully professional minicab service that i have experienced. The drivers are respectful and have great service manners. I pleased to say that the i enjoy my interaction on the phone with the telephonist, they always remember me as a regular.They're very affordable and i highly recommend them.

Booked Metro Express through Kabbee to go from north London to East London on a Friday night. Turned up on time, polite, immaculate car and they were competitively priced.

Hands down the best taxi service ever!! I love how when I ring up it recognises my number and asks if I'd like to be picked up from my normal place. It also saves your name and your preferred driver! Driver 44 (although I think he may have changed to 71) is the most amazing guy in the world. They are so professional and friendly on the phone - just absolutely love using Metro!! They pick me up from Enfield Lock even though they're Wood Green based - no job too small! Use without hesitation, thank you Metro for being so fantastic!

I have been using this cab office for a long time now and as far as I'm concerned they are the best in the area..The cars they provide are nice and clean, drivers are very polite and helpful.. The staff are very professional and extremely reliable. .. plus they give you 10% discount on apps booking which is great. ..
A good local cab company with decent cars and quick service. I use cabs a lot and found their booking service reliable and efficient, and quite personable when I use the phone. Haven't tried their online service but will do so in the future.
The receptionist is rude. The cabs are always late. The cabs always smell, mostly like cigarette smoke. Stale cigarette smoke, I might add. The cab I was in had a broken seatbelt, and the driver just shrugged when I pointed it out. No effort was made to check it out.
Also, when I walk the streets of Wood Green, and I see a Metro taxi, they rarely ever indicate. Those drivers seem to need a refresher course.

I waited on Weds for a Metro Express cab as they have the contract at my local supermarket, and after 3 phone calls and 2 texts my 4 year old and I were still waiting. Worse still, my 5 year old was stranded at school while pick up time came and went. I stressed the urgency to get to school in every call then finally suggested the poor service should result in a complementary cab ride, to which the controller replied "listen lady, we don't do free rides". Disgusting. A friend picked up my daughter and I called another company who came in 5 mins. I would never use/recommend this firm to anyo

Wow! This is a first a reliable cab station.
After using a few local cabs I phoned Metro Express with a response my car will be with me in 5mins and to my surprise the cab arrived on time, Thinking this is a fluke I rang for the return trip the telephonist booked me in telling me within 5mins my cab would be with me and also advising me of their apps so I can track my car in future. Well Metro you have my Vote you stand by your words

I have been using metro since i moved to north london they have always been so reliable and good with prices.
I recently had astroke and am now disabled even now metro are there to help me and carry on giving me the service i need with their wheelchair accessable vehicle with a helpfull and polite driver THANK YOU AGAIN METRO KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.... Mr J.anderson

having recently moved into the area i looked for a local cab office on the internet and was given metro express phone number.having used the office on numerous occasions i am impressed with their service.the cars are always on time and the drivers have always been polite and helpful.

I have being a loyal customer of Metro Expresses since 2005 and have never had a bad experience with them. They are prompt, reliable, the cars are always clean, and the drivers are always friendly. Their new iPhone app is great too as I can now book a car using my phone!
Would definitely recommend to all.
I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL CAB STATIONS ONLY TO BE LET DOWN AT THE LAST MINUTE. NOT WITH METRO THEIR OPERATORS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING HAVE A LARGE FLEET OF CARS AND ARE COURTEOUS AND

Up until today I was a regular client of Metro Express, however, after standing outside my house for half an hour past my pick up time, arguing with the driver who insisted he was on the right road, I will never use this service again. If I had had another cab number, I would have called someone else. I am now sitting in a car with a driver who is very insincere in apology, and I am going to miss a hospital appointment on the other side of London that I've waited 5+ months for. Response from controller? "Sorry, love no discounts". Response from driver? "Get another cab". Diabolical.
