DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE - they actually DAMAGED my car whilst in their charge and refuse to take any responsibility. And they doubled their price from the original quote, to a ridiculous amount. The prices went up twice - each time I spoke to them, and when I asked for a written confirmation of the quote - print out/ fax/ email, they refused.
I took my car in for an MOT, it failed on 4 all relatively simple details - I asked them the price to do the repairs - they quoted £117 plus 25 to repass the MOT. Calling a few days later to check on the progress, they had repaired one thing, and quoted me £230 for the repairs (all the same repairs - just double price). I told them to stop at the one thing, which they quoted as costing the same as the original price quote for 4 repairs, and said I'd take my car to my usual garage. Picking up the car they charged me more than the original price quote for all repairs just to fix a horn, and even more again from the price quoted on the phone the day before - 2 price hikes... In addition - my car had a dent in the side which was not there when I left it with them. They were unpleasant about it, and when I called customer services, they were also unhelpful and said it must have either happened in their parking lot (forecourt) where they leave the cars whilst in their care - but they take no responsibility whilst the cars are parked there. Or else, they said that I was lying - the dent was already there (not true) and I was just trying to skam a free repair. This was their regional customer care officer. He didn't want to investigate it at all a part from that.
So I had to lodge a 'hit and run' with the police as the garage refuse to own up to their fault. You may think that the MOT test price is saving you £10 but BOY will you pay elsewhere. ZERO STAR RATING
