After reading the reviews, I was ready to avoid BMG Scooters. But since a friend recommended them, I gave them a shot.

I'm glad I listened to my friend and not these reviews (which are all over 8 years old I notice??)

The service in the showroom was excellent, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. All the products are from major brands and they don't seem to sell any cheap rubbish, which gives me confidence. All in all, it has been a very good experience and I am happy to recommend them.

Booked weeks in advance, I took two Aprilia Mojito 125s to BMG for a service and MOT, one also had a clutch-slip/judder. When booked and deposited they were advised that we needed them long before close of business. Gone 2:30 and no-one had called. When I called the Service Manager was at lunch, but "he will call in a couple of minutes." Thirty five minutes later BMG called; "One has been MOT'd, but not serviced, the other has been serviced, failed the MOT, no clutch-slip, needs a tyre" They'd had the scooters for 7 hours and, "No, we can't change the tyre in the next thirty minutes." As usual, BMG had overbooked the amount of work they are capable of completing. Workshop practice is to book more work than time permits, with the mechanics earning a bonus if they can achieve more than the official manual says they should. Bottom line is a rush-job and/or not enough hours to do what needs to be done. Having been advised that both scoots would be serviced pre-MOT it transpires that they were MOT'd first because "those were the slots we were given by the tester". BMG told me that they MOT scooters; they don't. What they do is take them to a testing station further up the road, and apparently don't even pre-book. The final stab-in-the-back was that when we arrived to collect our scooters the service manager (a term to be loosely applied) was at lunch (some hour plus after my first call, when I was advised he was at lunch), and his deputy service manager argued that they had done nothing wrong and it wasn't their fault. A bad workman always blames his tools... I booked with BMG because they advertise that they are specialists. BMG are as bad as any other, possibly wore. I will never give them any business, and I told them so. Beware, and steer clear.

Took an Aprilia Habana 50cc scooter to BMG for a few simple repairs. The parts they ordered took 3 weeks, despite them assuring me the repairs would take 2-3 days. You can imagine the inconvenience this caused as the scooter was the sole means of transport, something which was highlighted to them repeatedly when I called them for updates (they didn't call me).

BMG were completely uninterested in anything I said to them about the delays, and the bill far exceeded their original quote - which they refused to honour because the workshop apparently took longer to repair the scooter than originally quoted. I still don't think that was my fault, but couldn't get the scooter back without paying.

To add insult to injury one of the genuine Aprilia parts which was allegedly replaced has failed less than 3 months later.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend BMG as an honest, reliable, customer-friendly place to take any bike for repair work as a result of my experiences with them.

I am at the final stages of purchasing a scooter. Nothing major just a 50cc. I've visited a couple of dealers. But decided rather than trek to another i'd call and speak with BMG Fulham first to make sure they had what I wanted to look at in stock...

Spoke to a sales guy who didn't seem to care that I was pretty much at the final stage of the buying process and ready to make a purchase within 2 days!

RUDE isn't strong enough. I asked 2 or possibly 3 very simple questions about Price and Makes. My final question was about whether they could negotiate on price. At which point he said goodbye and hung up?!

VERY IMPRESSIVE SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TECHNIQUE!

Anyway guys well done and i'm off back to Metropolis to spend the £2000 that's burning a hole in my back pocket!

Bought a scooter from them a couple of months ago - big mistake. Never received worse service than here. When my scooter broke down few weeks after the purchase they refused to service it. I had to take it elsewhere. When the problem was identified as so serious that Piaggio's head technician had to come to look at the scoot, BMG denied any responsibility. When I asked them what are the chances of having a replacement, they started shouting at me!!!
I sent a complaint to Piaggio.

Any scooter enthusiats will tell you - Avoid these dealer!!! There are many good Vespa dealers around London, dealing with BMG is a sure trouble.
