I've spent a few lunch hours at the Chelsea Deli while contracting nearby. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful even when they're very busy, and their menu is the best value for money in the area (by a long way). Definitely a local favourite, which I'd return to whenever I'm in the area.

I was visiting St Mary's Hospital and cam across this place to grab a bite to eat. From outside it looks like a little, tired, old school cafe but if you see past this, behind the door are lovely friendly staff and cheap delicious food! I just paid £2 for a ham, mustard and salad sandwich but was presented with a gorgeous warm, soft baguette filled with delicious quality ingredients. Motto for the day: normally I would walk past somewhere like this (I'm embarrassed to admit) so never judge a book by its cover :) x
