I've been getting my hair cut from Alex at Rush for about 2 years.
He's polite, well organised & is very skilled when he gets his hands on those scissors.
With Alex I'm not afraid to try new hairstyles/cuts as i have complete trust/confidence in his ability & recommend ANYONE to try him out.

I have receeding hair & despite visits with several other stylists, Alex has managed 2, unlike any others, make my hair stylish, smart & the thinning is totally unnot

I've had my hair cut at Rush Kingson since it opened 3 years ago and have always been really pleased with the results. The staff are both welcoming and efficient and I'm always treated to a nice drink to enhance the whole experience!! I would and have recommended this salon to my family and friend

I've been going to Rush Kingston since the salon opened. The staff are very friendly and professional. They always listen to my suggestions and offer advice. Im always offered a nice drink as well while having my hair cut and coloured. Great place and I highly recommend it. Will never go elsewhere!

I decided to go to Rush because it looked like a professional well run salon.

The hairdresser was friendly and I decided to pay an extra £12.50 for a treatment after having my hair coloured. I was told that this would be left on for 5 mins. It was infact put on and washed striaight off again. On questioning this, the reply was "it depends how busy they are". I don't really care how busy they are when i'm paying for a treatment.

I spent 3 1/2 hours in the salon having a full head highlights and cut. Towards the end of the cut it became apparent that the hairdresser was inexperienced and didn't know what she was doing. The colour was blotchy, some parts of my hair with no colour at all and others with patches of bleeched hair. I asked for my fringe to fall just above my eyelashes and I have been left with a fringe at least 1.5cm above my eyebrows, which is wonkey and badly cut with different lengths each side and very short in the middle.

I thought that perhaps it would be better when she styled it, however she dried with a hairdryer and did not style it proporly. I was left to go home with frizzy roots, a fringe that stuck straight out at an angle with a kink near the roots. On further inspection the fringe had sections that were bleeched and blotchy and others that were partially bleeched and others that still had the roots visible from my previous colour.

I would not recommend this salon.

Not as good as i thought it was going to be. One male staff member especially rude for no reason, had serious attitude problem. Don't really know what they are doing in terms of colour and were a little unorganised with my appointment.

Excellent, friendly service - brilliant cutting and colouring. Young is the greatest!
