I couldn't agree more with the previous comments. Gino's is just brilliant. I have been going for years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The premises have changed again recently. They have let half of the space to another barber but the new crew are also very pleasant, and the camaraderie is second to none.

I live in Houston, TX but when visiting London, always make time to have a haircut at Gino's. I've been going there since I lived in London and the eoponymous Gino first started cutting hair at this location (although the barberia was much larger then). Then and now I receive a superb haircut that is not rushed; I catch up with the two Tonys (uncle and nephew) although sadly Salvatore is no longer there. There's admittedly more than a little nostalgia involved, too, for the time when Soho was predominantly Italian.... but that's not relevant to the fact that the guys at Gino's know how to cut hair, give a shave and generally make their clients feel at home without any pretentiousness - what more can you ask?
