I went today for a wax. Ive been waxing for over 20 years and I can honestly say this was the most relaxing pain free wax I have ever had. I will be returning as a regular customer. Bola is lovely and gentle aswell as professional. Thank you

I have been coming regularly to this salon for a year or so, and would recommend it! The waxing is speedy and effective, especially the chocolate wax for sensitive areas. The online booking is super convenient, and Bola is always willing to stay late if I can't make it within normal opening hours. The salon itself is a little shabby round the edges but is not dirty. Bola herself is very friendly and great to have a chat with during the treatment. I am confused about the negative reviews here as I have never had a bad experience. Worth a visit for a reasonably priced treatment.

This is the BEST !!! pain free wax i have ever had(also it was with a CHOCOLATE WAX) ,it was fast and lovely.She gave me a lot of after care advice and very polite.
I would definitely be going back on regular basis and recommend this salon to my friends and other people.You wont regret it.

I purchased a voucher for this salon in the hope that it would be a pleasant experience. It was negative from the offset! beginning with the lady answering the calls. when I called to book and she was extremely rude and unhelpful!!

Ran into this salon through a deal voucher and went for a bikini wax today. It was least painful of all bikini waxes I have had to date. Bola the manager is a true professional and knows what she's doing plus she's got some great skincare tips up her sleeve. Would definitely recommend.

I have just had a 2 hour pampering session of mani & ped here and it was wonderful. The service was amazing; the lady was lovely and friendly and gave great advice on aftercare and beauty tips in general. I was completely relaxed and at no time was the treatment hurried. Although I live in North London I will definitely come back here again for other treatments. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with my treatment (Hollywood and underarm wax). It was quick and not too painful (considering that I had left it awhile between treatments). I was also happy with the end results, it has only just started to grow back after almost 2 weeks. The manager was professional, but also friendly and funny. I've been coming to Pheonix for over 3 years now and thought it was about time that I wrote a review. I knew as soon as I'd finished my first appointment that I had struck lucky by moving in just around the corner and have never come away disappointed since. Even though I now live in Battersea I still make the trip back to Kennington, as having had my legs waxed for years I have to say: Bola is the best. She's also helped me a great deal with sorting out my skin and advised me on the fantastic range of Dermalogica products that is for sale there. She's always more than flexible to fit in early or late appointments and I take great pleasure in our conversations – true beauty therapy, with the emphasis on the latter !

I have been to this salon twice now and will definately go back. I was surprised by the poor review, as I found the opposite. I have had my legs waxed for over 15 yrs now, at many places - and this would be in the top 3. The results were excellent - and she did it in the quickest time ever, and with the least pain caused. Even when my hairs were short, she got they came out. The lady was on time, friendly and professional. I think she is planning to decorate soon, but I saw no sign of any dirt... and I am vigilant. I'd describe the shop as comfortable and clean, the lady as warm and caring, and the waxing quick, minimal pain and excellent results. Thoroughly recommend this place. Thanks Phoenix, Diane

I have been going to this salon for a few years now and have never been disappointed or treated badly, ive always been treated to a friendly face and a smile. The manager is warm, helpful and professional in her work and gives excellent customer serivce. The salon is clean, comfortable and tidy. I go to the salon for a bikini wax and she does a brilliant job. I can highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I get the impression that the above reviews may/probably done by the salon owners. This it the worst salon experience I have ever had in my life. Manager was one of the rudest people I've ever met in my life. Didn't note my appointment time down properly at all. Waxed me while on the phone/talking to other customers and left me with massive patches of hair still on me. Honestly can't believe how rude she was! Was sarcastic, patronising and terrible service.

Also the salon is dirty, old looking, I have nothing good to say about this place. My leg still feels so prickly!

This place is a real find - excellent customer service with a wonderfully friendly manager. I've never felt so at ease or had such little pain inflicted on me for a wax, and excellent quality too! I would recommend this place highly to anyone
