Just had to write a review about Barbara who works at the Stress Exchange. She cut my hair beautifully the other evening. She is very friendly, positive and is a superb hairdresser, she listens and she instinctively knows how to cut hair, and I also found the ambience of the salon to be calm and comforting also. Barbara cut my hair with such proficiency and ease, and just knew how to handle my hair, which is coarse and thick. I would therefore 100 percent recommend her if you want a great, quality haircut. I was very nervous, but Barbara immediately put me at ease. I would therefore without hesitation, totally recommend her. She will give you her her absolute undivided attention whilst you are in the chair. Fantastic! Thank you Barbara x

The place looks ok but I received an absolutely awful customer service. I booked on the Friday evening for the Saturday morning but when I arrived at the desk the receptionist could not find my reservation. Since it was my first time there, I checked my phone to make sure I did not call a different place, but when I showed them the number it was theirs. Just then suddenly the receptionist remembered booking me and said that she cancelled me because I did call after 5 minutes to cancel. When I said this never happened, she became very aggressive and said that she was sure that it was me because she recognised my voice. According to my phone record, we spoke only once for 3 minutes and I was on a noisy bus. How could she be so sure? She kept being very aggressive and rude saying that she cancelled me only because I called her back asking her to, and this is a total lie. In the end I got my treatment anyway, that was not as good as I am used to, brisk and not very accurate, therefore I wasn't very pleased with the whole experience. I would have been happier if they would have offered a discount for the distress or rudeness but they did not. Certainly I am not going back and I am not recommending the place to anyone.

I attend both the Stress Exchange Salon and the Hairdresser. I even prepped for our small wedding there. I really enjoy the reception service, they always give me a call reminding of the appt, and I have free birthday vouchers etc. The staff are variable, but good on the whole. The beauty treatments are done with very high quality products, and the waxing service is excellent. The spray tan products are excellent.
The hair salon is fairly pricey - expected given the locatio., I have been very happy with Donna, and she is fairly good with layers in my very fine hair, but am reluctant to book with anyone else. Definitely give them a go, especially the beauty salon.

Came here for one nail using Biosculpture as mine had broken. They do not do tips which is annoying - I wish they had said this when I booked on the phone. The technician criticised the previous person who had done my nails which wasn't very nice. The nail has come off after less than a week. It cost £10. I would not recommend paying for the full set which costs about £50!!
